Best Xmas present given/recived
« on: December 29, 2004, 01:12:22 am »
Gave my 16 year old daughter a radio controlled fisherman in a boat complete with fishing rod that lowers! It has a battery powered fish that the goes in circles, the idea is that you position the boat in line with the incoming fish and try to lower the rod (and hook) to catch the fish!
Daughter was speechless, but we had great fun trying to catch this dam fish!

Best present given to me, from me courtesy of the sales is a Portable DVD player with 5" screen complete with all the accessories needed to charge the battery or connect to the fag lighter in the car, plus all leads etc. All for a rather nice price of £80. Will get plenty of use on all my motorsport trips.

Got a great new Shoei skid lid and a 10-speed dura ace groupo for my push-bike (for any of my fellow pedal pushers out there).

The best part of the holiday is how much beer I have left over!

Not much pressie wise sorry to say, but a phone call from my brother on Boxing day from near Phuket was very welcome, the best present I could have wished for in fact.
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Santa did the business this year. Nice new Blaser F3 shotgun and 3000 rounds of ammo. What a clever man he is. He even left me the bill so I can claim it on expenses, top hole.
