You are right, shouting "Agincourt" is ridiculous in this part of France. Does NBaker not know that our King Henry Plantagenet was actually born in Le Mans!!!?
Actually in historical circles I am told that it is quite acceptable to pronounce the word as either "Azincour" with a french accent or alternatively "Agincourt" in an english accent.
Your union comment is quite correct also. Worldwide, unions are far too busy buggering up the country (and maybe our travel plans) to worry about history.
Finally, to paraphrase Shakespeare " Follow your spirit, and upon this charge cry "God for Harry! England and Le Mans!"
