Ok - i have signed the guestbook, i have my £70 ferry booked and i have even put out a call for the perfect tent sharing companion..... all i need now is a camping ticket!

Or am i still a bit too early to be worrying?

Would love to get back to Houx Annexe again this year but that might be too much to hope for....  Cry

 Grin

To be honest Fran, there don't seem to be that many tickets floating around at this time. Several on "that site" seem to be going for huge amounts over face value (more fool the bidders)

Last year there were dozens, nay hundreds, of spare tickets for sale in this section of the forum in the last month. And at that stage many tickets on "that site" were selling for less than face value.

I wouldn't panic.................YET!!  Wink

We'll have plenty of sausages and bacon with us, but in all seriousness a warm bbq to knock up a quick brekkie before we unpack the van and start making up the camp could be quite handy!!

What boat are you on this year Brian??

Should be on MB Sunday afternoon.

Brian,
I may be asking if you would allow me to put my kippers under your grill.
It's looking like a 'back to basics' year for us, with no vans or mothership going down. So it's going to be tales from a small tent, which I predict will mean, amongst other things, warm beer, green sausages and dysentry. It's going to be a real deja-vu experience all over again, we've spoilt ourselves over the years with increasing levels of comfort and inebriation. Maybe Jaguar will win, as well.
Mysteriously, Uncle Albert is taking his van, but insists it will be full. I can't imagine with what, a man can only use so much 3-in-1 oil. Maybe he's planning on bringing back some eastern europeans.
Talking of Jaguar, I found this on the web the other day, I'm sure fax will enjoy it...

On  aserious note H, if we do get the van/mini bus type vehicle we are thinking of then if you have a fridge you want us to take down it may be possible. (all depends on what vehicle we end up with if course)

We're looking for something fairly big as there'll be 6 of us in the advance party with all 23 peoples camping gear, two fridges, a freezer, tables, chairs, bbq's etc.

JP, yes mate, let me know if you have any spare room. Even if it's just to put my favourite slippers and pipe in!
