Fran, try one of those tubular fibe glass expanding fishing pole / flag poles that pop up on *bay - or they're sold in Carrefour.

I know time has been covered before, by if you get time to drop in to a hyper market you can get Roach poles for a few euros I bought a 5m one for 6.5 euros in Archan, I dont think I will be using the thinest section though, but 4m is 12 ft.

Hmm, the flag pole...

So we have this scaffolding planned, about 4,5 metres high. On each corner there is gonna be an aluminium pole of about 4 metres high. On one of those poles I will attach a 9 metre fishing rod.
So if this works out good I'll have a flag pole of 18 metres, is that gonna be a winner? ;D

Exactly!!! Surely you must be going for a flag pole on each corner though Paddy??

Exactly! With lights to match. Things are starting to get shape, especially after being convinced our current plan is the one to go for.

Did you see the picture of MB you wanted? I thought you wanted to see this>>

That's the spot we're hoping for!!!! Thanks Paddy. You didn't by any chance measure the distance for me from the trees on the right to the edge of the path/road did you?
