Thanks Kpy. Presumably a return trip would require two tickets? Also, do you know if you buy the 6 ticket package if they could be used by three different people (i.e. three returns)

Return trip uses two of the cheapest tickets. So long as they give you six tickets then, yes you can share them out.

I confirm, even if the tickets are on the same cardboard, you can split them between diffrent people. The bus controller only cut off a coupon for each people!

At such an hour shuttle is probably closed.
Maybe the last shuttle from general entrance to Arnage is at 1 or 2 AM.

I guess we will have to try a little bit earlier or maybe even drive down if anyone is sober enough! Ive heard that arnage as the sun rises is an experience not to be missed.

The shuttle bus on race day is brilliant - BUT the last bus to Arnage is before midnight - we parked at Arnage and took the bus around the various corners expecting to return to Arnage to sleep in the car. The helpful bus driver at the main entrance locked up his bus at midnight leaving us stranded. Oh well a stroll in the French countryside in the dark, mixing it with the enthusiastic drivers is an experience not to miss. By the way we slept in the car at Arnage with no hasle - the cops were asleep in their bus on the other side of the car park so if you haven't got a camp ticket and are only doing the one night see you there.

DOes it say in that lot anywhere whether the buses to the Drivers Parade ever return? No, it doesn't. There is a return service. But you'll need to ask the driver or enquire at the SETRAM office.

I think the last bus from the town leaves at about 22:00. We missed that bus last year as well! It is quite a walk back and if you get lost just find a bus stop. They all have maps with a big red arrow saying you are here. Very helpful.

The WANCS found the bus at the railway station last year after the Parade but have never been able to get a timetable for it. Just blind luck really. The last #6 bus which gets you as far as the cemetrie up the road from the museum/main entrance leaves the city center at 8:00pm (20:00) Taxis are good if in a group however be warned they only take as many as they have seatbelts for.
