I thought I'd post this one here - a useful test for any new recruits to your team - give them this, watch them sweat, and only let them come if they get over 60%. If they get over 90% you may not want them to come either, as they are probably meat paste sandwich carrying anoraks!

Is question 2 a ringer?

Well done Mr Rhino - spot on - you have identified yourself as a true anorak (this is the anorak determining question)- please award yourself a meat paste sandwich washed down with a cup of luke warm lemon drink from your thermos flask! Grin Wink

As we are staying on Houx again this year, I am interested in the correct answer to section 4, question 6 please. And of course exact details about this shortcut.

Thanks.

It's a bit pedestrian these days but back in the early 90's this was seen as an amazing leap of knowledge, like discovering the cure for cancer or something.

The "Helps Shortcut", in memory of Richard Helps our Founding Father - before even Beermountain was born!

Head out of LM on road from Carrefour, down the hill, under the bridge (Tetre Rouge) turn immediately left across the dual carriageway, then immediately right down a very small road on a steep hill - and bingo turn right at the bottom and you emerge at Houx Annexe!

Easily pleased back then!

Oopps, if that is the shortcut, I hate to think what the long way round is, because that is just about the only route I know.  Cheesy

Look at it another way Rob - perhaps you need to attend Le Mans more often, for longer periods and take additional remedial classes in Spa and Sebring.... that should get u up to the required standard.

It's taken enough effort for the missus to let me go to Le Mans. I think it's unlikely I'll be going anywhere else.

I'm just content, with my lack of knowledge, to sit in the trees at 4am watching very exciting cars zoom past. I don't know what they are, i don't know who's driving them and I don't know any anorak data.

I am looking forward to seeing the AM's because I already know what they look like!!! Cheesy

Apart from that I'll have a damn good go at drinking myself to death.
