How absolutely delighted I am that the mighty Everton put the Manc rubbish to the sword this evening.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Jem

ps sorry to mix footy and motorsport but being an Everton fan you have to strike while the iron is hot as it may not happen again for anothet 10 years.

Jem:

I cannot put into words how much I agree with your articulate, well thought out and, to be honest, beautiful post.

I think we should have a Big Dunc thread!

I for one was utterly distraught, particularly at the look on poor Alex Ferguson's face when Scholes was sent off.

Oh, did I mention I'm a gooner. Nice one Everton.

You'll get no sympathy from me Whitey. I live in Bournemouth and can still remember when Leeds fans trashed the town on their way to promotion 89/90. I don't hold a very high opinion of Leeds since then.

I also think what happened in Bournemouth was a disgrace I was actually there that shameful day, I can assure you that 99% of Leeds fans are not like those Bl**dy morons

Alright then, I'll support 99% of Leeds  Wink

I guess you get that element at every club but at the age of 16 it was my first experience of it.

I don't know what you think Rob, but I hope Liverpool don't win the champions league. I think it would be a travesty of justice if Everton did not get Champions League Football after a seasons hard graft. I say this with apologies to the red half of Merseyside, but I just think qualification should be based on a whole season of games

Just slightly off thread and onto the subject of rugby (still a bunch of blokes chasing a ball)... wasnt there someone on the forums who was off to watch Bath against Leeds on Saturday... I thought it was meant to be just a formality that Leeds would be soundly thrashed by the west country chaps!  All the pre-match analysis reckoned the Tykes didnt have a snowballs chance.

What went wrong    Huh -  Cheesy
