We are getting the ferry from Dover to Calis on Wednesday morning 7.15, having a leisurely drive down Grin Where is the best place to stop for a Beer and something to eat?

Check out The Twats website. They have a write up on most journeys and I believe they include a recommended bar/restaurant on the Calais-Le Mans route.

Depends on your speed, you may wish to wait for the Police to stop you, if you don't have enough cash you will have to go to a cash point and top up, could be the ideal time for lunch.  Sort of killing two birds with one stone so to speak? Grin
