What's the best way?
« on: May 19, 2005, 02:02:54 pm »
We're driving from St. Malo via Rennes to Le Mans.

And EVERY year we make a hash of our route from the A81-E50 road to HA.

When we reach the A11-E501, is it best to go south to the N226 junction, then East on the N226 -> N23 to the N138-E502 juntion..

Or perhaps when we reach the A11-E501, actually go east ont the A11-E50 over the top of Le Mans and drop down on the A28-E502 to the N23 and approach from the East?

Also... is it better to go clockwise or anticlockwise when coming round Rennes from St. Malo?

Sorry, problems with attachments...

...perhaps I should be asking 'what's the best way to attach a file?"  you wouldn't think I'm in IT would you!!

Well b*llox... I have a nice map showing you exactly what I was asking... you'll just have to imagine it...

Basically, from Rennes, is it best to go clockwise around Le Mans to the track or anticlockwise...?

We also come St Malo - Rennes.  When we hit Rennes, and just before the Genet hypermarket is the turn off to take you to La Val and onto Le Mans.  This takes us anticlockwise around Rennes.  After La Val you pick up the payage and get off at the first turning into Le Mans.  After that we go on by memory or follow the signs to the airfeild.  As soon as we see the airfeild we know we can get to Maison Blanche.

Not the best directions but is hasn't let us down for the past 9 years.
