Film to CD
« on: May 20, 2005, 09:31:51 pm »
Is there any place in the Village to get film developed, particularly to have it put on a CD ROM?  (Don't ask "Why don't you have a digital camera?" because I do have one; it's my friend who has a film camera.)

sounds a bit hi tech for "the village", your friend will probably need to be a bit patient.

your best shot would probably be the large Carrefour down town, but that might still take a few days :-\

most of photo shops in the Village have their own instalabo in their shops.

However they all run a photo shop in town so they may be able to propvide you this service, if you may wait one day perhaps.

Please prefer Washington Photo (my favourite) which is just after the general entrance, on the right before the tunnel, and next to the LM g-string dealer !!!
Le Mans is life, anything before and after is just waiting...

... it's not the taking part but the winning that counts !

Marvellous - from film developing to G strings in one seamless step.
This reminds me, and ties in nicely with my "Weather" post - if it's hot'n'sunny, we all know where to get our G strings from for the 'Poo bar on Saturday night.

G strings and flip flops; perfect for a balmy evening down the 'Poo bar.

Thanks, Gilles, I'll pass that along to him.  It'll be a big help during the race run-up.   And he can use my camera for the race and have his own photos developed in Paris when it's over.

As for g-strings, frankly, my dear, I decline.   :o  When you meet me you will know why.

On the subject of g-strings - does anyone else find their dreams haunted by the avatar of catob?

I have swung my pants with the best of 'em, but that is just too much.  :-\

Kate. There are (fast) film processing facilities for those with credentials close to to Press Centre. They are well signed.
Have fun.

I  can see it now, lots of pot bellied men, all in their strings, in that Peter Stringfellow on holiday type pose.

Maybe I'll stay away !

Fran, he is only warming up, wait until the Poo bar and a number of bottles of fizz later, the man is a real live jerker.
Come back hello Cato.

Hmm  - just re-checking my diary.... i am sure there is something urgent i should be doing (somewhere miles away from the poo bar) on Saturday around 9 p.m.!!

Then again, with my CA polo jauntily knotted at the "waist" - I could give anyone a run for their money!

P.S.  watch out for Smokie - we have wandered off thread again!!  :-[
