Thought I was ready to go.
« on: June 01, 2003, 09:46:12 pm »
Have been sorting my stuff out for the past 4 weeks, I thought I was all done when two things have happened today. After getting the tent out and putting it up two weeks ago, making sure that it was in sound condition, what happened today, the wife arrives and declares," I have bought you a new tent for your Birthday." Smashing, spent most of today getting to grips with putting it up. After many flucks and a few beers it stood erect. no puns.
Then I thought I will sort the special designed polo shirts out, to find that our graphic designer must have been pissed when doing the art work, instead of my name being Brian, they all say Brain. Oh well at least I have until next Saturday to get ready all over again.
Lifes a bitch.

Having looked under the car today, the tent check planned for Saturday is now going to be supplemented by Sunday spent welding up the rear axle casing, which has decided to spring a leak at the most awkward bloody point possible - where it is seated onto the leaf spring.........
