GRRR!! How did that car stop there in the first place? It looks suspiciously like one of those bloody incompetent, useless WR's had screwed up again.  :(  

Of course, the WRs have much more right to be at LM than the Zytec that wasn't invited to race and yet did so well at Spa. The ACO are partly to blame for this rubbish being on the track in the first place.

The WRs seem to get a carte blanche (double) entry every time without really trying.  They run well off the pace (see qualifying times), spend plenty of time in the pits and (maybe) finish.

WRs?? I could understand the WM Peugeots being allowed to run, because it was for the honour of France - the 2 hours life at full boost engine meant they could lead the race for the first half hour, and then try for 250 mph when the air cooled.  They didn't really get in the way, and it was traditional to have a French loony somewhere.

The Brits loved it, especially when Roger Dorchy, leading the race, turned left at the end of the Mulsanne straight, instead of right.

WR = Welter Racing.  They ran two cars in LMP2.

A bunch of useless amateurs with more money than talent and a string of failures behind them. They should have been told to clear off years ago. It is hard to see why the WR's manage to earn double entrys each year when other more viable teams sit at home, but the same could be said for quite a few on the entry list, at least the WR's have the virtue of supporting the 24hrs thru some very lean years when the others sat at home.

The W in WR is the same as the W in WM. Mr Welter was, or may still be for all I know, the head of the design dept at Peugeot.

I think the difference is that it's  now run by his daughter (?) Rachel Welter. She must have told them to "drive carefully".  :(
