Bentley Bits From 2004
« on: August 11, 2005, 09:07:25 pm »
I have several pieces of bodywork from the Bently when they won last year. I also have a wheel nut and the nut that holds the spiler on. It took me hours of talking to get the bits. It has been valued at well over £1000 due to the nature of it. Offers....

A wheel nut. Is it genuine ?

I would give a sensible offer or £5 as my car has all 16 in place, and i dont really need any more  :-*

A 1000 quid!!! Are you for real.

In that case I have a piece of the RFH Firman/Wilson Dome Judd, its about 5 cm x 4 cm and a bit raggity round the edges. The Man on the moon (which is made of cheese) says thats worth at least a 50000 pebbles.

Harber, at Sebring JPC got the whole bonnet of a Viper, it must be worth a mint. I had the radiator but it wouldn't fit in my case. Had I know bits were this expensive I'd have bought a new one specially.

£1000 for a wheel nut indeed! Who told you that? Walter Mitty? You would need a signed proof of provenence letter from Bentley to even approach half that money.
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Hi Mr JHarber,
You have obviously mistaken us for a group that gives a sh it.
Me? I am saving up for a round at the Stella Bar.
And you missed the point of JPC getting the bonnet of the Viper which serves as a fantastic memento of a fabulous event. I am sure the team would not have given it to him if they thought he was interested in making money from it.
