I going to rent a farmhouse with a pool in Normandy next year. Travel with women to farmhouse, settle in for a day or so then the men folk will travel on to Le Mans, then after much sun & drink, travel back to the house for relaxing then travel home. Can anybody point me in the right direction. Looking for a house that takes around 10-12 people.

Try this company, have used them over many years and they have a large selection of good priced properties, they also have a web site search engine, but the catalogue makes the selecting easier.  They can also organise ferries etc.

Hi Ferrai Spider,
I thought you were going to offer him the use of your tent  Grin

Phil whilst spacious even the tent would be straining.  Plus the tent will be at Le Sarthe rather than Normandy.  There are quite a few web sites available that can give plenty of info depends if they are looking for self catering or not.

Self catering would be the preferred choice

Some of these look very good, thanks for the link.

May be able to convice the wife that a trip to France is a good idea around time of the Classic next year.

Anybody on a budget and maybe younger kids should look at Eurocamp, not just tents, mobile homes as well on decent sites with entertainment. Had many good holidays with them, very easy to book with one call.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

Only just spotted this topic

I have a very large farmhouse in Brittany, just next to Normandy and it takes me just about 2 and a bit hours to drive to Le Mans from there - have done it many times.

Why not email me to get more details.

This is genuine - I have been a CA member for ages

Cheers

Thanks RS2 babe, but we have decided to ditch the farmhouse idea. We are sending the women to a health spa for the weekend instead!!

Robbo

If you want another location.I have contacts near Angouleme which is 2-2.5 hours south of LE Mans.

Angouleme has lots of chic shops for the ladies and it is only about half an hour from Cognac
