Hi All,

The name's lardyboy or lardy,  currently planning my second visit to Le Mans for the '06 race.  Hoping to get plenty of advice as this year, as well as the missus, I'm bringing six Le Mans virgins.

Roll on June

Anyway, hi to all in Club Arnage.

Hi Lardy - welcome to the Madhouse   to CA.

Plenty of advice always available - just ask the questions.

First piece of advice, perhaps, is that you should bring the virgins, but leave TOH at home  ;) ;) ;)

Welcome to CA lardyboy. You've come to the right place for good advice, once you sift out all the bollocks and bullshit. If noone can answer your questions on here then they can't be answered at all.

You'll get no bollocks and bullshit from me Bob  ;).

Welcome Lardyboy (although that is very close to Ladyboy  :-\ ).

This is, pretty much, the LM off season.  However, the "I've got tickets", "How much is the ferry" frantic postings will be due along some time in December.

In the meantime, please join in the harmless drivel, interspersed with some actual motorsport, that is Club Arnage.

Thanks for pointing out that :)

As for this being off-season, thought I'd still register.  Got a house in Bouloire, just north of St. Calais that we'll be visiting quite regularly, so in return for everyone else's advice, I may be able to offer local updates over the year.

Is St Calais different from Calais?

Otherwise you must have a high damp proof course... :)

Smokie, surprised you haven't put it into the satnav.  Ladyboy will be very popular as his basha is just to the east of some place called Le Mans which has a motor racing circuit so i'm told.

I'm sure he/she will be a very popular chap with the club.

It's not too large a barn, only about 4x5m, and this year it's likely to be filled with furniture from our house as we're having rennovations done. Still if anyone fancies dropping over during race week you're welcome to check out if it'd be large enough to use in 2007.

This was very quick Lardyboy, you have already met a large number of the regular protagonists... Some more to come obviously, but anyway, welcome. :D

Hmm 4x5 mtrs not big enough for Paddys kit but very valuable as it is... Are you looking for a renting agent? I am looking for a gentle niche after having retired and occasional visits to St Paris to check the rentalspace would just suit me, Speedferries here I come  8) 8) 8)

nice to have you aboard!
