Audi TV
« on: October 19, 2005, 02:30:44 pm »
I was skipping thru the TV listings on sky last night and came across Audi TV.

While the channel is a blatant plug for all things Audi, there was features on the R8 at Le Mans, coverage of the LMES races (from last year!) and best of all a profile of the Audi Quattro rally car from the 80's with loads of period footage.

Worth catching if there is nothing else on.
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Been watching it for a week or two now, on and off. Quite a lot of ALMS and LMES coverage as well as "Proper Le Mans" too...
For a manufacturer's programme it isn't too unhealthy  ;)

When I watch it the pictuer is OK for about 5 minutes and then goes to Black and White.
It also seems to reset my whole Sky system to B&W unless I turn the TV off and back on again.

Too right it was - caught it last night - excellent stuff from the start of the quattro in rallying throught to the last gasp (well 600+bhp of it) up Pikes Peak.. ;D ;D
