Camping has to be on Maison Blanc

ferrie ....personal choice.Speedferries run out of Dover to Boulgne and do a super ticket at £50 return....other ferry companies vary from 200-600

Other than that....Just come and enjoy!!!

Maison Blanc if you can get it, if not Houx Annexe is good fun. P & O Ferries Dover-Calais very cheap and loads of um if you miss your one. Its a fair drive the other side but quicker now the motorway is open

just booked with LdLines for under £140 return to le Harve.  Makes the journey a tad shorter, and less cops on that route.  they are only about £105 with no cabin.

Hi 20vmk2_dub,

As a general rule, I think most people tend to return to the camp site they used the year before. This must mean that when push comes to shove, they are all pretty good really.

Location is probably the biggest difference as it's a bit of a treck to the main stands for some, but then they are closer to some good trackside viewing. 6 and two threes.

MB tends to attract more hard core groups who set up their own village. (most of which are on this forum I undestand... Roll Eyes)

We started in KN but have found HA to be in a better position for what we wanted.

As long as it's one of the on-site camping sites, you can't really go wrong.

We seem to be divided between HA & MB.  They're both fields with minimum facilities, so its realy a question of choosing your neighbours, and there's not a lot of difference.  I prefer MB as its close to Tribune Jaguar, and the bars/supermarkets at Arnage, but further from the village

Getting passes is the issue, and Beausjour seem to be the overflow site.

we've camped in Beasujour for the last 2 years, and are re-booking again for next year.  simply, it has shaded fields - though to our cost, we missed that this year  - and is very close to the track.  it does take about 20-30 mins to walk the pits however.  With the exception of this year when Arthur Brown was playing onsite @ SpeedChills, it generally is quieter than HA.

After years of camping behind the cafe on the straight we camped at Beasujour this year. Will be camping there again next year.
Long walk to the pits but we take bikes so it's no problem for us.
It's not really where you camp, it's what you make of it.
