Goodwood 1991

Browsing through an old Classic Car magazine the other evening, came across this very emotive image of Valentine Lindsay's D-type in the pit lane at Goodwood on a wet summers day.

What a reminder of how it looked before the recent overhaul and the new success it now has.

Enjoy

Lived just up the road for many years. Anytime there was a loud engine it was on the bike and pedal to see what it was.
Nelson Piquet in the ground effect Brabham in 1980 (i think) just before the British grand prix, ran laps around the one minute mark. The Canon Porche 956 ran 1.06.
Why did i always time them and not take pictures?
Happy days.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
