Cricket??? I don't even understand that sport sober, let alone wasted.

Lucky for us, the americans turned it in to baseball, easier to understand, just as boring to watch. Grin

What is going on the Dutch invented Cricket, Strange but true!

We did what?, can't be!, unless these Dutchies were stoned while inventing it!!!

Toss a coin for either as they have their good view points, I prefer Mulsanne half way or more to Indianapolis,  but dont expect a good spot at either after midday. And take plenty to drink, sunstroke aint pleasant.....

Oh the luxury of the stands, cool air, reserved space.
what a buzz of thunder as all the cars start!! (Orgasm!) time for another beer!

I was lucky enough to be in the stands for the start last year - gab blagged us a borrow of someones tickets.

Yes it was exciting. Yes it was noisy. I think I stayed awake for at least 5 laps...  Grin

Following our arrival at Karting Nord a couple of years ago he proclaimed "blimey this is close to the track, I don't think we'll get much sleep"

2 laps into the race, I kid you not -

I have watched the start and finish at Mulsanne for the last 6 years and would not recommend it at all. There are hardly any people there, so getting a drink at the bar is too easy, parking is too easy and it is too easy to enjoy a comfortable pre race picnic in the shade of the car park prior to a short walk (slash in the woods on the way) to the corner where you get a tediously uninterrupted view of the race without having to stand up. Take my advice, it’s for old men and wimps like me don't go there. Please. Wink
