This clip makes me think that this is what le mans should be like.  Not the oversized F1 track we have now  >:(

Damm, that looks like fun. I wonder if there would be enough space for 300,000 spectators camping on that winding mountain road.

Also looks like the car could be the jim gainer dome with all those red spots on the bodywork.

Excellent, but scary, no gravel traps no run offs and very little armco. Get it wrong and you're history.
