The curse of the twin towers
« on: February 21, 2006, 03:00:29 pm »
I see that the new Wembley Stadium will not be open in time for the cup final (whatever that may be) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/4731888.stm

Wasn't that the whole idea.  Its like saying the new village and improvements will be complete in July.

Not bothered about the football that can go to the millenium stadium, I got tickets for Bon Jovi in June, if Wembley is not open by then will it be canceled, postponed or moved :(

I can't believe that anyone is surprised by the delay.
I heard a builder on the project talking on the radio today and he said they've known for a year that it wouldn't be finished in time for the cup final.
Why do you think the FA booked the Millennium stadium "just in case" ;)
If I was you, I wouldn't start from here

When are they going to realise that its most important use will be for motorsport?   What is this football thing anyway?
