I'd tell them that if they can't get it out to you by pre-qual you expect a 50% discount as you've lost half the value of the ticket - let's see what they've got to say about that!!   ;D

 ;D ;D Something tells me there response would not be favorable. We were on a waiting list for the Thursday night at our accommodation and they wanted to charge us £50 per person for the extra night, i have managed to get us a rooms at the F1 hotel for about 20 euros each, so told them to poke that part of the trip.
