Fran, I have been plagued by this junk for about five days now too, but only on some of the threads.

I searched my own compootah for signs that it could have been picked up elsewhere but it seems to be here only.

All my "antispam, antiworm, antitrojan and antitroll" ware says it isn't in my machine so I reluctantly think it is off someone else's machine...

The only way I can stop it is to hit the CROSS in the corner!

i'm use msn, nothing here at all, maybe you need a decent anti-virus/spyware thingy, thats technical splourge if you hadn't noticed.

I use Norton antivirus, updated daily, so I think it's a Microsoft thingy ( I can do techno speak as well ;))

Do the computers which have been effected run Windows XP, with auto update enabled?
If this is the case, as everybody seems to have been effected at about the same time, I would guess that it might be an update from the Great Satan in Seattle.

As most of you, I do get is in some threads. Very irritating indeed. Must be the forum threads, no msn on this machine, it's a work PC and very well protected to downloading and firewalled.

I'm not getting the message now but I have been for a number of days on both the home PC which is firewalled and has auto-update turned off and also on the work PC on which I can't install anything as I don't have administrator rights.

So Club Arnage is obviously the answer to all our computer problems. If you have a problem, post a message about it on here and two days later it will resolve itself.  ;D
