Travelling over dover - calais on the Thursday morning, driving down, and camping in HA. (Bought the pass off ebay, I've learned no to do <that> again!) Haven't got the general admission tickets yet, planning to get them when we get there, if I can't, please let me know.  Planning to break the back of the return journey to Calais on Sunday afternoon / evening.

Any tips or recommendations (Apart from not getting tickets off ebay again)

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

The best bit of advice you can have is "Do not attempt to go anywhere near the space on HA that is being saved for me"

You are of course  most welcome to join us for a beer once we have pitched up

I echo that very good advice, the other space is mine. Shocked

That doesn't worry me at all.

If you see 2 blokes in HA with a silver fabia vRS and a cheap tent and poor quality tethered parachute (Gazebo) looking bewildered / lost, point us in the right direction / take us under your wing.

Nickliv - be sure that there are many on here who will be happy to 'take you under their wing'.

If you haven't done already there are many useful tips etc. on this board to help you get around and understand what's going on.

On the subject of general admission tickets DON'T buy them off e*bay  - you can buy them when you get there, or get them on here nearer the time.

Your wish is my command, and you'll get those barbeques cheaper elsewhere

Tits

Oh hang on, you'll just post the same picture. Grin

I may indeed find the barbecues cheaper elsewhere, so I'll keep looking. Undecided

Haven't actually bought the car we're meant to be going in yet, so there's probably a recommendation there as well.

It was a choice of a 1977 morgan +4 with a recently rebuilt engine (still being built if I'm being honest, rest of car strewn about my dads garage - dad has a habit of dismantling things, and not really getting round to remantling them) with no suspension travel, absolutely no weather protection and no silencing or a car I don't own yet.

Maybe the mog will get used next time.

Then again....
