Unfortunatly the Strippers stopped featuring 2 or 3 years ago, although their entertainment value was more down to their roughness apprentently. Their stage was a curtained lorry trailer - class - not. Shame that there not there anymore, was quite french in a way.

No sign of semi naked ladies at the bike event, to which most of my bike group were very un-happy with.

Absolutely - but the last time we saw them was when the funfair was in it's spiritual home on the outside of the track between Dunlop and the Esses. Still, now the village has been demolished and corporate hospitality seem to be the order of the day on the other side maybe tradition will return. We live in hope........

Ah, those beautiful ladies, the sophisticated and oppulent surroundings, and the faint smell of haddock...........and everyone going back to their tents afterwards to look for their sock!
I tested negative for patience.

Talking of health and safety and something else that is missing as well is that guy driving around the walls of the tube on a motor bike and small race car.

Couldn't be just down to health and safety as they would have banned the go karts a long time a go.......
