Hello Lurker.
Speaking of the Poo Bar,has anyone had a confirmation that there will be one this year?
That is one of the main reasons I am going.
I love this place,another hijacked thread.lol

Hi Lurker. As to hijacked threads, does Fran's nice new portrait mean she will be wandering round the camp sites barefoot on her bike? With scarves a'billowing?

Hi Lurker, good to see youve decided to come out in time from the main event. It's interesting that, in common with many of us on this form, your memory is possibly not what it used to be, you are however sure that you need to yeild to the call of La Sarthe in june. Have no worries Randy, there will be a Poo bar meeting this year even if there is no Poo bar to host it.

Do not worry Randy, with 2 squeezy bottles, a plank, a piece of sticky back plastic, some shock cord and a Swiss army knife we will make a poo bar if necessary Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of US contingent at LM.

Hi Lurker... Hope you have a nice time here. As it's my first LM this year, I'm kinda looking forward to the Poo Bar, which may or may not exist, at a time that may or may not change. I'm placing a lot of faith in these guys ^^^ to find something tangible that we can call a Poo Bar. Otherwise I think I'm going to be wandering around in some kind of existential mind bending experience for 5 days while trying to work out if I exist, the Poo Bar exists, if there is some kind of race going on, and whether the Charlatans are any good... See you there (wherever that is), or somewhere else, Patrick.

There will be a poo bar!! It makes huge anmounts of money and the ACO have to pay for the village refurb somehow so they aren't going to stop their caterers from setting up (at huge expense I guess)
If for some crazy reason there isn't one, then we'll simply meet at the site of the old poo bar with a pop up gazebo and a handwritten, "CA Poo Bar" cardboard sign! Most of us take our own drinks along anyway (I think a bottle of Mumm was €45/€50 last year wheereas you can buy the same in carrefour and chill it yourself for about €20/€25. We take Sparkling JP Chenet which is about €5/€6 a pop.
We've got one of those cheapo shops in town at the moment and I'm pretty sure they sell packs of 6 plastic champagne flutes for about £1.50. I might grab a few packs!!

Try the Carrefour Saumur at less than 5 euros and much better than JPC. They also sell plastic champagne flutes.

[ Try the Carrefour Saumur at less than 5 euros and much better than JPC. Termietermite, With comments like this it would be best you avoid the Basingstoke area. JPC is cosidered to be necter of the gods around those parts. To even suggest they should try another brand is sacrilidge

I will attempt to avoid Basingstoke, I promise. As I live in the Sarthe this should be easy.
