The "I'm still waiting thread"

I just spoke to a very unhelpful muppet at UPS and I asked him if I could delay delivery of my tickets until after I return from a holiday on 27th May.

 He said "Not without a tracking number"

"But I will be away on holiday and you only try to deliver 3 times and then return to sender. Can I get it redirected?"

"Not without a tracking number"

"Can I arrange for the package to be left at a neighbours house?"

"Not without a tracking number"

 "I must say you are not being very helpful?"

"You can't say that without a tracking number"

So without a tracking number, as far as UPS are concerned I am f**cked.

I've had to speak to a very helpful young lady at the ACO and arrange for my tickets to be dispatched after the 27th.

You guys that are waiting for tickets from me, don't worry they should be with you very soon after that date.

They delivered mine next door without any promting.

If the tickets were delivered to my neighbours they would burn them most probably.

They haven't liked us after trying to take us to court over excess vehicles outside the house. They lost on grounds all the Vehicles are Taxed, Insured and have valid MOT's.

We shall be collecting ours from Pompy Docks the afternoon we are leaving. I know that is cutting it a bit close but it is a good excuse to meet Robbo for a Beer and rub in the fact we are going on Sunday

i'm still waiting to get them from MRI,  but i have taken the option of early posting  so should get them next week i hope.

Bob - tell the ACO that I'll collect them at Test Day if you like - can post 'em to you by Next Day service.

Thanks for that but I'm off on hols early Saturday morning (bloody hell I'm getting as bad as Robbo) and I don't suppose anyone will be there to change anything. In reality it's probibly best not to change anything now in case it all goes tits up. They have assured me that I will get them in plenty of time to post off my spares. Thanks for the offer anyway
