Speed Ferries Ticket
« on: May 25, 2006, 11:22:15 pm »
I have a speedferries ticket
BOOKING DETAILS:
Departure                             Arrival
14.6.2006   11:15 Dover - Boulogne    13:05
                  SpeedOne
19.6.2006   21:00 Boulogne - Dover    20:50
                  SpeedOne

This cost me £50 for one standard vehicle and up to five passengers. We are travelling a day early so have rebooked with an overnight ferry. For sale at face value plus any transfer costs (I don't think that there will be any but I will check if you are interested.)

Have a great race!

"any transfer costs "

I think they *may* make a charge - if neither the original car nor the named driver are on tyhe ticket. However it isn't much (£10 or £20 I think)

Speedferries will only transfer  provided that the lead i.e named driver is going to be the nominated driver on the new bookin booking .....otherwise you have lost £50 :'(

We had this problem last year when friends who were coming on holiday with us had to pull out at the last minute. We tried to change the booking to another friend and were politley told to"go forth and multiply"

Thanks to Smokie and Wishy for the information. The offer is withdrawn; I apologise for posting without full facts.

Have a great race!

We got away with this last year.

Someone dropped out, so another guy took the ticket, called Speed ferries to advise a change to the car details, but left the lead name the same.

On the day of travel, he arrived at Dover and said the person who was the lead name was sick and couldn't travel. "On you go sir, sorry about your friend"

No problems
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.
