This is a bit late in the day for me as I leave in less than 12 hours, but for all you film star wannabees... I have received the following email:
I'm contacting you in the hope that maybe you or your readers might be able to help with this year's Le Mans Official Film.
I'm producing the film and this year I'd like to include footage of fans and clubs making the journey to Le Mans - banners, classic cars, crossing the channel, driving down, perhaps a few "video diary" moments, anything that captures the sense of preparation, anticipation and general passion for the
event.
Hopefully some people are taking video cameras with them on their trip and if so I'd like to hear from them! Their footage could then potentially appear in the Official Film and DVD of the event.
I'll be at Le Mans for race week and can organise copies of the material.

I've responded to the email with the URL of this thread. Please mail or PM Steve Brown (until he leaves for LM) if you would like to assist with this project, saying what you can offer. I would imagine that just short clips are required rather than full length videos. Steve will be able to send you the guy's phone number so you can contact him in LM (for that is where he requires your input). I would imagine he may be especially interested in some footage from our American buddies, or anyone else who travels long distance.
