I'm not there either.  My daughter just had my first grand child last week and I'm delighted with her.  She is a little doll.  Good reason not to go this year, maybe next year.   368 days to go (if they have it on the same weekend next year.)

I'm sure the atmosphere can be recreated at britcar. Some pigeon french combined with a lot of stubby beer bottles and a stinking hangover should be just the same as Le Mans.

I'm bringing my pen. And possibly mini-bird armed with a crayon.  :D

Not going has something to be said for it, I would have been in a pub in Ashford about now. Was there last year, we turned the lights out when we went to bed ;)

 :( :'(

I am another on the list of stay at homes  :(

New job has buggered it up for me. I am hoping to arrange for next year, but may have to find another job if I am not allowed out then either  :o

Bloody exams, the school boards should move them so they don't clash with LM  ;)

I'm not going due to a combination of family commitments & skintness in our team, but I've got the tent, flagpole, bbq, fireworks etc ready for the drive up to my mates in Scotland on Friday so we can tape off part of his back garden and re-create Tetre Rouge, might be a bit cold for the swimming pool though. Already got my order in with the ACO for next year, only 52 weeks to go.

Oh sh!t, reading this is depressing...

I have to do 12 hour shifts at work (also weekends and bank holidays) at the moment because of a huge project but still I'll be there. If only on saturday and sunday but I will make it to the Poo bar. It's going to be 1700 KMs of moving back and forth next weekend, more than most of the racing drivers have to cover.  ;D

Bobblehat: I'll have an extra beer on you mate when Shorty's wanging along.

All others: Heads up, there's always next year.

Just saw that: Mr. Invisible too - sorry to hear this.

I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Im missing it too, going to the classic this year instead so all is not lost.
We have got a big screen to watch the race on and a marquee, bbq, DJ, bonfire and fireworks in my friends garden down in Yorkshire this weekend so it shouldn't be too bad. Weather looks good too!
