Radio Le Mans Archive
« on: July 24, 2006, 01:33:31 pm »
As I am sure you all know, the Radio Le Mans website (http://www.radiolemans.com/) has anarchive of this years race coveage. Unfortunatley the first hous is missing. I was hoping to use this to splice into a video of the weekend I am putting together.

I don't suppose anyone has it downloaded?

Or a contact for the webmaster of the site?

Cheers
HTB!

Yes true, there are quite a few hours missing (not me, the rml web site). I may try to mail JH to find out why.
Good interview of Martin Short on there, btw.
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Top, thanks very much John !!!

It seems to be all available now at http://www.radiolemans.com/.

And that without even moving a single muscle. Thanks again John for watching this space and helping out.

Big thumbs up.

Hour one still not there.  Unless it's my system that don't want me to have it!!

'Race - Hour 1' just comes up red without a link. I have tried on a couple of different browsers.

hbg if you can download it, would you be kind enough to send on as an email attachment?
Thanks

HTB!

Had a couple of hours playing it in the background whilst working away at the PC today, its just a great rewind, love to hear the thunder of the vetts in the background, the interviews, etc, etc, its interesting to select the 10- 12 hour slots, you can almost feel the matchsticks keeping their eyes open - still cant see where Old Timer was coming from in his veracious criticism of RLM.

Is there any way that I can download the coverage so I can put it on my mp3 player (I know I can record it from the feed as an MP3, but it's realtime, and a bit of a ballache.

Still, needs must ;-)

This is how I did it

Go to www.radiolemans.com
navigate to the archive page - right click on the hours you want to download and select 'save target as'

You'll have to do each segment individually but is a damn sight quicker than listening/recording in real time...

enjoy
