Hi, I've been browsing the CA site for a couple of years, but never posted anything. I've been going to the 24hrs race since 2003 and planning on many more trips. I've also got a little site that you might like to take a look at, all about Le Mans. Cheers Dave www.lemans24.piczo.com

Hi Welcome to CA. Don't think it will ever beat the Wokingham area, there isn't enough space on the islands!

Welcome fellow Bean - I think we have more than enough CAers on Jersey now to form a splinter group but sorry Fagey, there are only two seats in this new members Cayman so you will have to get the bus Thats a cool website - I have seen your car around the Island a few times. Anyway Rick what are you talking about re space on the Islands - there is loads of open space and tons of beaches in Jersey - not many of those in Wokingham me thinks. Byeee Lisa

Hello fellow 'beans'!
There always seems to a fair few people heading on the ferry down to Le Mans each year and the odd Jersey plate spotted around the track, but this is the first Le Mans forum where any other people from Jersey have appeared.
Nice to hear from other Jersey LM addicts.

Hi 'all' I know there are a number off people that trundle down from the Islands but have not come across others on the site. I met a guy on the way back from the Classic with a 1929 Dallard or something like that, but he still had english plates on, tax fiddle I think. A CI chapter is prob a good idea. There always seems to be a lot of interest in the Gsy flag. This year at the '24' a number of guys came up to me when they saw my plates none living in Gsy but all over the UK after finishing Uni. >Martini...

Yeah, real value for money that condor service! The departure time is just a rough guideline! Just to rub it in my mates grumble about paying £26 return for their ferry tickets from England to Calais come Le Mans time.
I stay at clubmotorsport (link on site), 5 mins drive from arnage village. Food provided, Bar, clean showers and toilets. They also sort out the race tickets if you want.

is it worth having a southern empire meeting? don't fancy travelling to the cold dark northern expanse of empire CA, but a short trip to one our majesties colonies appeals! what say you
