OH FECK!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the P&O website this evening (Mon. 9th):

P+O ferries regret to advise that there is another national day of action in France tomorrow (10 June 2003) and will result in the closure of the Port of Calais. This has resulted in disruption to sailings. The last sailing to Calais will be the Pride of Burgundy 0515 Hrs 10th June. This sailing will have to sail 15 minutes early at 0500 hrs. Resumption to our services are unknown at this time.

I'm not booked until the Wednesday at 0915, sure to have a knock on though. The rest of the MB posse are on Tues. eve. (oh no they're not!).

Great news!

No offence taken, but the company isn't owned by surrender monkeys, it's the union card-carrying monkeys who are on strike. France is divided into two types of people - the job for life types, and those of us who have to work to stay in business!

Have fun.

Kpy mades a good analysis of sociotypes of French people...  Roll Eyes

... just a bunch of stupid extrem-left unionists are able to block the whole life and economy of the country  Angry

It could make me love the idea of your Margie's to privatize most of public services.... private companies means no strikes !!!!  Tongue
