Can any of the locals tell me what ferry companies run and if then run in January as I am struggling to find one that goes from the UK to the islands.

Checked Flights and there is no problem around £60-£90.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

There is only one ferry company that comes from the UK to Jersey and that is Condor Ferries. I think you have the option of a fast cat which takes about 3.5 hours or the overnight traditional ferry. Its probably cheaper to fly but you only have the choice of BMI Baby, Flybe, BA and Thompson Fly (from Doncaster).

I hope lots of CA'ers will be able to make the trip.

Any Southerners can fly from Southampton with FlyBE for £66.

The return trip from St Malo via Condor seems to be about £50 or so for a foot passenger for the froggies.

sometimes the hotels over here do special fly/boat weekend rates.. especially off season.. so methinks I will do a bit of snooping around to find some deals Grin

The voting on this poll was 1 for December, 11 for January and 2 for Febuary. I have reset the Poll with Januarys week end dates for you to vote on them.
Thanks Brian

Am in a fix here Andy as we sought of thought Col di Turini on the 20th.  However, can do that 2008 if the following weekend is no good for others. So.. I haven't voted but count me in for any weekend you fix up.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

I've voted and I am all excited about the prospect of you all coming here already Grin

There is quite an active car club over here and my boss is one of the big cheeses in that so I ought to see if there is anything going on during January. If not I could try to arrange something. Their members have some top marques and a few classics to boot - they always look for an excuse to show them off.

Brian, being as you are organising the poll - I hope this means you will be coming over as well - would be great to see you.

I dont think the courts would take likely to that police because the weekends are set out months in advance Shocked and so both me and the kids mother have to work out our future events carefully... last season I only got to our rugby club's league games lunches once.. and the absolute hell i got for the LM moto gp and 24hrs does not bear remembering Angry

I assume then that the former mrs fagey would not take kindly to their spending the weekend with a load of drunken sports car enthusiasts?
