What is this years ultimate camp accessory
« on: April 24, 2003, 05:51:27 pm »
We've seen the showers, baths, pools, jaccuzzi, fridges, freezers, sattellite telly. and more

Last year we were campped next to Germans which initially might sound bad, except they had a fully kitted out bar with cold beer on tap which they were willing to share for a cold shower.

So come on, what is this years must have toy/gadget/novelty beer holder?

A friggin' ticket, by the sound of things.
We took a mobile gas chamber in 2001. It was decided that we would have a feast of barbequed king prawns, just about the time the biblical flood started in anger. In order to protect our precious seafood from the deluge, we placed our gas barby inside one of our tents and began our carnival of corpulent crustacia - all washed down with lashings of ginger beer.
The carbon monoxide induced halucinations began shortly thereafter and the fact that the barby was burning with a smoky, yellow flame went largely unnoticed. Even when members of the party began frothing at the mouth, collapsing in convulsions and projectile vomiting, it was put down to 'a bad pint'.
Thankfully there were no fatalities, just a vague memory of taking a trip to France for some reason or other and the strange aftertaste of glutinous, butanous shellfish.
If it\'s good and fast, it won\'t be cheap. If it\'s fast and cheap, it won\'t be good. If it\'s good and cheap, it won\'t be fast.

We had our own bog seat last year !

Done the shower/mother of all gazeebo's/etc. etc.  Liz Hurley or Helena Christensen on the shopping list for this year !

Failing that a water proof hammock as it is bound to rain this year after last years weather.

Does Liz Hurley have a whiffy hotspot then? She looks so nice on the telly...

A church.....and vicar......

so I can drag my mate and future wife over to get married at the race.....therefore I will only have to step away from the circuit for a few minutes to do my best man duties.....
Le Mans is for the week......not just 24hrs!
