It's the DTM meeting but shared with FFSA GTs (put the old DTMs to shame!) Saleen leading by a country mile in the championship in spite of a sh*t load of success balast. :)

Two great wins for the Saleen over the weekend in spite of carrying maximum success balast in the second race.  Truly stonking drive by Hernandez after the driver change.   ;D

Well - obviously as you can tell from the results - I wasnt watching the Saleen racing!!

I did see them winning their class in something last week, but it was a replay some time after the event, so I wasnt able to jinx them that time either.   ::)

If Oreca bring one to LM next year, you'd better not use it as an excuse to stay away.

The Saleens always get pretty nervous when Fran is around. I remember Silverstone last year where a Saleen lost a rear wheel right in front of Fran's (and our) eyes :-\

And this year at Donington, the flappy thing at the back fell off (well - to be fair - it wasnt supposed to be a flappy thing) - causing another early retirement!  (Mind you - Paddy and the DfH gang were there too - so maybe it isnt me at all  ;D )

Maybe if we all clubbed togeather we could..........

(there are reports that both cars are in fact now sold to someone in the UK, so maybe Fran has already snapped them up)
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.
