Well I was going to take my bike to Le Mans this year, but after seeing this, I think I will stick to walking.

And the funny bit this was filmed in Edinburgh, which I was in last week, and recognised some of the sites and wow what a talent he has.

Video is indeed top-notch, despite the commentary being in German (reasonably!). Among the still pics, the line of 25 917s outside the factory is as surreal now as it was then. Just imagine Audi  & Peugeot building 25 of their current LMP1s, and having them all present for FIA inspection! Note most of the pics were by Rainer Schlegelmilch, aka "Schleg", the top motorsport snapper of the time. Liked the wet Brands '70 pic of the 917s - my camera drowned that day!

Reminds me of a bloke I met fishing one day that said his only memory of the whole LM weekend, (so drunk and Hi) was bungee jumping in the nude with one of the strippers from the 'Tents'.
She was an 8 pinter apparently!
And his wife never let him go again, surprise surprise.

How about this then, no big engines etc.

I sail a Firefly (12ft) and a Starlight (40ft), I own the first. Maximum speed through water is 8knts (10mph) for both.

This guy pushed open then envelope to 126.4mph (approx 150knts) but as a land yacht. This bloody thing has less foil (sail) area than my Firefly!

As in sailing, the only brake is your sail or you are grounded!!!!!!!
