Yeah, I saw that too fax. I thought that todays kevlar bags were meant to be puncture proof, - I'll bet that's put the wind up a few drivers. Nothing like a fire to strike fear into the heart.

Agreed, you don't see fuel fires on single seaters very often these days, but that was pretty scary.  Upside down and on fire is not a happy situation.
Was watching some of the qualifying footage today from IMS and they interviewed her before she went out to qualify.  Her hands are heavily bandaged, and look a bit gruesome, but she's ready to get back after it.

I'm not an engineer but am I the only one unnimpressed with that. Surely if the bolts at the bottom were blown (as they look to have been) then a gust of wind (or my frogeye) could have pulled that over.
