What is this & when did it race at Le Mans..?
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Rupert, my technical assessment would be a Dunlop tyre, slick?, on a wheel, close enough? ;D

thank you Smokes, more reasonable comment that of late, s'pose i could have taken my ball home and sulked, life's to short.  I'm well aware he wants to know about the car but, you have to be a right smart Alec and knowitall to get that.  Give me a plane or boat and that would a different story.

BTW, we'll do this in public, still waiting for a reply to my PM.  all the best Mr Moderator keep it up!!! ;D

Mmm... I'm struggling Nordic.  1st guesses were Renault Spyder 1996, then Venturi 1995, but I think perhaps it's a Mazda RX7, 1994?  Terada, Freon, de Thoisy. If not, you've got me stumped.

You're stumped - I haven't a clue.  It looks cheap and nasty, whatever it is - the Harrier perhaps

The last PM from you is 17 October - though I may have gone mad with the delete button so may have deleted and missed something later...?

Rhino

And what part of the cicuit is it?
Is that just after Mulsanne corner.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Nearly there, but I was looking for the compond and maker of the wheel. ;)

Well done Termie, it is the Mazda RX7 from 94.

Was this the last entry by a car built by Mazda? apart from a few since that have had Mazda engines I can't think of any others.

Thats a good link, never seen that before. Cheers!

It odd how quickly you forget some of the enties. When I came across the RX7 picture yesterday I could not recall ever seeing it before, and was certain no RX7 had ever raced at the 24 hours since the 80's and the TWR inspired cars.
