For those of you with young children who at this time of year might need to know.
 Santa Claus lives in Canada.
His address is ;
                        Santa Claus
                        North Pole
                        Canada
                        HOH OHO

aka Father Christmas, Sinta Klaus and various other spellings but here at home he is Santa.
 All letters will be answered however it is recommended they be checked by MUm or Dad for "spelling" before mailing.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

                        Santa Claus
                        North Pole
                        Canada
                        HOH OHO

Hopefully, as he is such a well known character the use of the country and postcode on letters will not be deemed mandatory.  If so my son's already sent letter will not get to him and I will have to buy his presents myself, get dressed up in a ridiculous costume and run the risk of getting jammed in our rather narrow chimney - I don't have the command of all of SC's magic powers and cannot shed a sufficent number pounds to slide down said chimney as efficiently as he.

By the way for how long has the North Pole been in Canada? It either accounts for the HOH OHO postcode or heralds an unexpected and unwelcome foray by Canada into the realms of empire building.  We should be told!

No nothing so conspiratorial I think Old T. HOH OHO is just a very large postal district. I live near Oxford, but my post code (zip code) is HP which is Hemel Hempstead which is about the same distance as there is between the North Pole and Canada....simple Grin

This plainly is a load of old rubbish as I myself saw him arrive in my local park at the weekend by helicopter.  (Thinks - the old duffer is clearly making more money out of this lark than I  had imagined. Helicopter is quite a step up from an old sledge.)

Santa Claus is just a cheap rip-off of the Dutch Sinterklaas and invented by Coca Cola, how can we take him seriously???
