I had a email from the Le Mans Tourist Board saying I have been allocated 3 Maison Blache Tickets. It said please reply with your ACO membership number as soon as possible. I have not heard anything else yet. If the ACO actually give me the allocation of 10 tickets that I asked for then there are going to be a lot of spares. Watch this space.

Rick, when did you reserve your tickets? Before, during or after the race last year? I might be in the market for another MB ticket if one goes spare - I am just waiting to hear back from a couple friends who are thinking they'll come.

You are now on my list of people who want a ticket. I expected to have 5 spares but I may now have 8! They will all go to members of CA or direct friends. Andy and Barry are already on the list. How many do you want. It will be first come first served. I expect though that I will be very lucky to get MB tickets from the ACO even though I reserved in May 2006. |

Thanks, Rick. It will be one only and I've explained the possible pitfalls to the couple concerned. I've e-mailed the ACO again today as they told me they'd be sending letters out at the end of last year and again nothing! They do seem to be making life very complicated for themselves but there you go. Bureaucracy is a French way of life!
