Sounds like you've got it right, Rusty.  Beer and motor racing sound like the perfect things to spend your money on to me.  Happily, my o/h holds the same beliefs as me.  Enjoy your freedom.

Just to add to the joy, UPS dropped off a bulging envelope this morning from the ACO. Cured the hangover instantly. Yippee. Life is good.

Talking of stickers, I need to put this years on my car. Problem is, how the hell do I get last years off? God only knows what Paddy uses for glue.

Soften with a hair drier Bob, and it comes away quite easily.  A quick wipe with white spirit, and all ready for this years'.

Would giving your car a blow dry on your driveway, scraping it with a blunt tool then pouring white spirit over it, not raise a few eyebrows along the street?

Better to stick this years next to last.

Thanks Del.

I received my t-shirts courtesy of some tall dutch guy at Sebring.  ;D

The stickers (plus limited edition special offer) arrived courtesy of my friendly neighbourhood postman.

Me too, exactly.

T-Shirt Order book Re-Opened

I'm probably letting myself in for a lot more hassle, but I have found a small printing outfit local to me who is quite reasonable on price for small numbers.

I am therefore re-opening the order book for additional CA shirts.  Because of the time frame, the order book will stay open for a maximum of 3 weeks - and I will have printed only those shirts that have been paid for (I still have 3 shirts unpaid for from the first order!!)

EDIT
***********************************************************************

Sorry Chaps - I'm going to have to kill this offer before it really got started.  I have just received a call from the printers and, I quote "We have had a major problem".  She wouldn't go into details, but she reckoned they would be out of the game for 3-4 weeks, which will make it too late for LM.

I have PM'd those people that have ordered, most of which I can satisfy from the spares I had.

Many apols

hi Del,
thanks very much for arranging the new shirts order!

Please put me down for (1) XL shirt.
(Also, if by any chance you have any 'Med' bumper stickers left, I'll take one of those also..)

I'll need to pay by PayPal since I'm in the States, as soon as you PM me your info. I'll post payment -

cheers,
mike

This where I have to ponder the sizing issue!

Can I have 2 XLs and a medium please?  I seem to recall my wife found a cheque book lurking in the boot of my car the other day, so assumming its still there (and not cancelled) I'll send a cheque!

If you have any stickers left I'll have some of those too.

Chris

In the unlikely event you have unclaimed/leftover XL or M t-shirt please let me know.
Thanks
