Today, thanks to being a member of Club Arnage, my wife and me have had one of the most enjoyable days we have ever had. We were sold tickets for the England v Scotland 6 nations rugby match by a fellow CAer. Not only were these tickets for possibley the best seats at Twickenham, they were  sold to us for cost price when they could have been sold for a considerable amount more. This, to me, proves what a fantastic bunch of people use this forum.

Club Arnage rocks. Long may it remain

What Mike C said! A cracking match to watch, even from the very edge of my sofa! Must've been fantastic to be there.

Jonny was good but Harry Ellis was better. He should have got Man of the Match IMO.

Let's hope this form continues...  Grin

Harry Ellis was great but that had to be one of the greatest international Rugby comebacks ever. 27 points and a Calcutta Cup record. Outstanding.  The atmosphere must have been electric.

Also a nice summing up of the type of people on here Bob. Top drawer, the lot of them.

It was pretty good, wasn't it?

I'm not too sure if the chap on the Scottish bench was too popular with his team mates though. He was having a bit of a laugh with us, at the Scots expense  Wink

On the ticket front; it was my pleasure to help out. Pleased you both enjoyed it .

I'll be there again this weekend, hoping to see some more thrilling rugby.

I haven't seen the France - Italy game yet, but the quality of the other 2 matches makes me think and indeed hope, that we are in for a vintage 6 Nations competition this year.

I'm sure that it must have been fantastic to be there but hearing Brian Moore and Bill McLaren (is that who it was), bickering like an old married couple, adds a great deal of entertainment too.
