MB ticket on E *ay, Question & Answer.
« on: February 06, 2007, 02:58:22 pm »
Just seen this on E *ay, on a MB ticket that is for sale. Interesting answer to the question

Q : Hi, This year the campsite has been split into zones, can you tell me which zone your ticket is for. Thanks

A :As I understand it from the ACO they ahve decided to abolish the idea of zones. My friends were told of this in November when there ticket allocation was sent so organised all of our tickets. When my allocation came through there was no mention so we posed the question which is when we were told they were not going ahead with the idea.

May be worth Termie, asking the ACO.

Bri,
I  emailed the ACO about 3 weeks ago and was told that our MB tickets are in zone B as requested

We've had same experience.  When asked in early January ACO confirmed we have 'zoned' tickets.

When I went in to pay for my tickets in January, I asked which zone I was in and they said B.  The e-bayer is misinformed.  If he/she asks the ACO they will tell them which zone the ticket is in, although they're not putting it on any letters.  From my understanding, only "magic listers" (those who have been booking direct for 15 years or more) have ever actually been officially informed about the zoning anyway!  It's going to come as a bit of a shock to anybody not on a well-informed forum! Cannot do much directly at the moment as I'm here in blighty and working on dial-up. Annoying slow doing anything!

Is that zone smoking or non-smoking, Bri?

Well Stu and I are in zone B, and we smoke loads, so would say B is the smoking area, but only out of doors you understand as we are getting ready for the English smoking ban. I may have to become an MP, as their bar is the only one in England where you will be able to smoke whilst having a beer.
