Yep, great. Some weird things in the list, like a Dome in LMP2 and a Corvette in GT2. Only one teamworks Spyker, and Swiss Spirit looks scary with an engine from an R8 in it Cry

First I thought it to be a misprint, but yes, T2M will ride a Dome in LMP2, see their website at http://www.t2m-motorsport.com/

Good to see someone has picked up the Radical torch and is prepared to give it a go.

GT1 is a bit low on variety.

At least GT2 is attracting more 'makes' to do battle.

However, as Herbert and Panis have both been testing the Aston....  Both Saleens Oreca prepared...  M. Alphand in the C6R...  Could be fun.

I'm assuming the list will grow longer as the season approaches Huh Where is the factory Zytek? It looked so good last year, especially at Donnington when it lead the Pescarolo for many laps. Unless the Arena International car is effectively Zytek's factory effort. Never heard of them, can someone clear this up for me?

Oh, yes, I suppose so.

Maybe GT2 looks more interesting because there are more entries.

I can't disagree, Christopher.  The closest racing is usually in GT2 and with the 997 in the mix and a great variety of cars this year it should be good. Smiley

The Racing Box Saleen is also 100% Oreca prepared so should be competitive. Grin

A few points,

Last years factory Zytek was a hybrid and so is ineligble in LMS this year but could race in the ALMS, this is the same situation as last years Creation. Arena have bought the new Zytek chassis for LMP1 and Barazi have bought it for LMP2, with two customer chassis they probably felt their wasn't a need for a factory car.

The list won't get any longer as the season approaches as it is at 51 cars which is the limit for some circuits, in fact the three slowest GT2's at Monza will not be present on the grid at Valencia. At least 10 cars were turned down, although they may make appearances at tracks that can accomodate larger entries e.g. Spa - Lister should have their Pescarolo ready by then. Mostly the cars that were turned down were yet to turn a lap or GT2 teams wanting two car entries, e.g. GPC and Chad.

The Radical running is the factory radical and ran in the LMS and end of season ALMS rounds last year its gonna be quick they just signed Robin Liddell to drive, Martin Shorts radical is still for sale and he has asked for an entry to Le Mans for it.

T2M will run in LMP2 with a Mader engine, this was annonced sometime ago. Racing for Holland will race in LMP1 as normal.

The second "Speedy Garage" Spyker will essentially be a semi-works effort after the two car factory team was turned away. Jarek Janis will be driving the works car.

The GT2 corvette is being developed by a bunch of Danes.
