Peugeot 908 Livery
« on: March 06, 2007, 05:12:09 pm »
So here's what the car's going to look like for the year, a bit too black for my liking, is it so the drivers are able to stop at the correct fuel pump (& not fill up with silicon)  ::)

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/57079

Will be nice to see a coupe back at Le Sarthe, even if it is a quiet one...

BTW Are any of the S**ringers able/willing to hang about to watch the 908's pound the track the following day or is it a private session??

To my knowledge, that session is cancelled.
I have given up on being on facebook and myspace, I kept mixing them up and invited people to come on Myface!

To my knowledge, that session is cancelled.
Even if it isn't, it would be a private session anyway. Means all spectators are wiped off the track before they start. Does anybody remember the backflip of the Audi last year? Same situation, "nobody" saw it... :-\

Knetter is right.  Cancelled anyway.

I like the livery.
Very stealth-like, You won't hear it and you won't see it 8)
If I was you, I wouldn't start from here

Audi coupe - 2001.

Didn't they show the 'concept' in a mostly white livery? With coloured flashes.

Which I thought looked better than this. All black looks good, but not this final version.

White is considered or perceived to be cleaner, therefore it would go with the 'image' of the cleaner diesel racing car ethos.

Here's the new R10 livery.
I stole DelBoy's lighter and lived to tell the tale.

Best view of the Audi is the one from above (plan view).

As with most modern race cars, you tend to get a better appreciation of their design when you view them from above.

Unlike 'historic' racers which tend to look great from all angles.

Peugeot's new livery  :o  - OK, it's a matter of personal taste... I think with all the money they have spent on the car already, a few more bucks for a decent graphics design agency would have been a good idea. I'm sure Paddy could have done a much better job for them, even without any orange color on the car.... ;D ;D ;D

Here's the new R10 livery.
Doesn't look that much different from that seen in recent years but I thought the Audis looked gorgeous anyway...
