for those that want to run their cars down the strip read this
Go to the signing on cabin near the start area and pay your £15 track fee. Signing on starts 9am so be at the venue in plenty of time.

We have a first-come-first-served operation with a capacity for 200 runners.

You will then be allocated a run number. If you have a motor cycle you will be given a number card and some elastic bands to fasten it to your number plate.

You should then take your vehicle to the scrutineers for a basic safety check after which you can join the race queue. Car scrutineers will draw a race number on the glass at the rear.  They use shoe whitener.

The races are from 10am until 5pm. There is a short break at around 2pm for crew members to get lunch.

how to get there
North Weald Airfield is easily accessible by road.  It is situated approx. 2 miles south east from Junction 7 (Harlow) of the M11 Motorway and is signposted from the motorway roundabout and also off the A414 Harlow - Chelmsford Road.
