We have one coming from New Zealand, although he is not driving. He is looking forward to going on a ferry though!!
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

As I'm a bit slow getting to all posts I've only now got to this one and as an ex Scimitar owner I must say that yours sounds ace!! Mine was an SE5A and a real 3ltr , not a 2.8 that used the Cologne engine. The Essex engine was always better as standard, but the trunnions were a nightmare so bad that the good mod was to fit grease nipples to them! Had lots of fun in that RWD and lots of power!!
Always go into a corner too fast, in case it turns out to be a quick one!

At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

Gordon,

There was a trick with the trunnions, Never Grease them, alway use EP90 oil. The grease gells and ruins the trunnions.
