I thought it rather harked back to the old French blues so was quite apt, really.  However, miss the old Pesca green myself.

I always kept one eye on the Pesca's purely because of the Kawasaki Ninja green that it wore!! (having riden KX's & ZX's)
Somehow won't be the same anymore!!

I will also miss the green. It was Henri's helmet color when he was an active driver. From a design point of view I found the green-blue mix was absolutely tasteless, but at least it made his cars unmistakable ;D

I love the new/old colors.  Henri's glory days were as a Matra driver, and the French racing blue harkens back to those days.  Sky blue has always been the traditional racing color of France...Bugatti, Talbot, Matra, Ligier, etc.
I always hated that lime green, leave it on Kawasaki's.
Sorry, being a old fart purist again. ;D

And that's why Prost didn't pull off his French only F1 team, he used the wrong shade of blue on his cars. ;)

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Strikes me as a good move esp. with the nondescript Pugs.  Henri flagging himself up as the French team.  Like BRG Bentleys.

I agree. Blue and green should never be seen.

Pretty soon the only thing that he'll need to do to keep his cars easy to recognise is to continue to eschew diesel fuel.

I agree with fax, that colour is very Matra in its hue and I think it looks very good.

It brought Henri 3 wins at Le Mans (and a serious crash he was carried away from!) so lets hope its lucky for him again.

Vive le France!

I think it looks a little bland. The Matra had a little bit of green on it anyway and looked a lot nicer. I think the blue is a little too pale aswell, will look manky with 24 hours worth of brake dust on it. Bring back a little green I say!
