Looks like Jo and I will be making it to Silverstone. :)
Unfortunatly we won't be able to get there untill about 6 on Saturday evening :(

I gather the campsite is by the Copse entrance. Does anyone know if we can buy tickets at that entrance on the Sunday morning?

Have a safe drive yourself, hope to meet you on Sat @ Whittlebury.

Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

Sorry I can't bring that car, wish I had it (one can only dream). Nearest vehicle to a classic that I have is a 1947 Ferguson TE20 tractor.

To everyone heading to Silverstone, today, tomorrow or Sat.

Drive carefully and have a safe trip.

And to Paddy Jnr, just remember, it is a well known fact, the more you say

"are we there yet"

the fast you get there!  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
If you're going through hell, keep going.

Weather forecast looks good:

Friday:  Overcast but dry
Sat/Sun:  Sunny, 21°

I'll still take some waterproofs though.

See you there

My plans have now changed. Cannot get down until Sunday morning as I'm getting serious grief from Mrs S. I fear this could have a serious effect on next years 24hr double. Seeing as I'll now miss out on the Sat night fun are we planning some kind of get together on Sunday? I've been really looking forward to meeting up and a spot of camping but Sundays as much as I can hope for at the moment! I also have goodies to pick up. What a bummer, weather looks perfect too!
